Team Communication
The Teams Forum
feature provides team members with an easy and efficient way to communicate with one another about any issue
important to their successful participation in World Comunity Grid. Now, in addition to the Teams Forum,
World Community Grid has a more private Team
E-mail feature. To make use of this feature, go to the My
Team page and click on either the "e-mail captain"
or "e-mail team" button. This will allow a team member to send an e-mail to the team captain (provided that
the captain has opted to receive e-mails from team members), or a team captain to send an e-mail to all the
members of the team who have opted to receive team e-mails.
To help maintain members' privacy — always an important part of World Community Grid, members can provide
an alternate e-mail address for team communication. To opt-in to team e-mails and/or provide an alternate
e-mail address, go to the My Profile page.

Team Challenges
Healthy competition can lead to more dynamic participation in World Community Grid. Thus, in addition
to the ability to send Team E-mails, World Community Grid has added a Team Challenge
feature. This gives team captains the ability to challenge other teams to competitions in categories
like Points, Run Time, and Results.
Team captains can invite other teams to participate in a challenge, or create a challenge that is open to
all the teams on World Community Grid. When a team is invited to a challenge, the team captain will receive
an e-mail with a link to the challenge. Invitations (and open challenges) are also displayed on the new
Challenge Control Panel on the My Team page.

the FAQ here.
