Thanks to votes from thousands of volunteers and supporters, World Community Grid is the winner of The Webby People's Voice Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility category!
It's official...this morning, it was announced that World Community Grid has won The Webby People's Voice Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility category. Nearly 13,000 organizations from 65 countries around the world applied for a nomination this year, and almost 2.5 million votes were cast for this year's People's Voice Awards.
"The People's Voice Award is a major honor, because it raises awareness of the important work made possible by World Community Grid volunteers," says Juan Hindo, World Community Grid program manager. "To everyone who cast their vote, and publicized the work that we do every day, this award is for you."
